Larry

from Detroit was in the midst of a major change. We walked together for several days, taking a rest day in Leon, becoming friends.

Larry was hurting, having lost his wife after 35 years of a close and loving relationship. And, his hands now gnarled and uncooperative, he had to abandon his successful home renovation and building business.

Walking the Camino provided the meditative and spiritual space for Larry to find his way forward. He spends time with his children and his dog, and now donates his construction skills to the local Council On The Aging, fixing houses for needy golden oldies.
